  The March 2019 Sanibel Island Fishing Club featured Dr. Ryan Orgera, CEO of SCCF and Rae Ann Wessel, SCCF Natural Resource Policy Director. Dr Orgera spoke on new shark fishing regulations and rationale, while Wessel gave an update on recent water quality actions, challenges and opportunities. SIFC has donated club funds to SCCF for years, due to their passion, knowhow and accomplishment in improving our local environment – in particular, water quality.  This year, the club donated $1000 to continue this critical work.
